Wild Swing In Markets As Sensex Recovers Over 900 Points From Day's Low | Read

Domestic equity indices slumped on Friday afternoon, with benchmark BSE Sensex losing over 1,100 points. BSE Sensex touched an intra-day low of 35,993.64 points, against the previous close of 37,121.22 points. The broader Nifty50 cracked below 11,000 mark. Yes Bank led sharp fall in banking stocks. However, the indices recovered soon after the sharp fall. At 1:32 pm, the S&P BSE Sensex tanked 143.74 points or 0.39 per cent to trade at 36,977.58. The broader Nifty50 was trading at 11,156.50, down 77.85 points or 0.69 per cent.
