NDTV' Prashant Shishodia reviewed Jawan in Mumbai. He cited the pros and cons of the movie in details. According to him, the action scenes of the movie are brilliantly shot. The movie delivers socially relevant messages with high dose of entertainment. The different looks of SRK are one of the talking points of the movie. He also mentioned the music of the movie is not as appealing as Pathaan. He felt there is lack of restraint in some emotional scenes.
