Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar says that his film Indu Sarkar is a fictional story with Emergency as its backdrop. Speaking about the recent protests against the film, Mr Bhandarkar said: "I don't know why they are so scared of a film. They have a legacy of such a big old party. Why are they getting so scared of it?"
