Mother elephant dies while rescuing calf
An elephant lost her life when she tried to rescue her calf that was trapped amidst rocks in a jungle near the Ooty hills. Forest officials have rescued the two week old calf, which will now be brought up in the Mudumalai Wildlife sanctuary.
