Rabi crops set for record yield
Farmers in most states have reasons to rejoice as government estimates and experts suggest that the country is headed for a bumper Rabi production. Timely rainfall has perked up the agriculture sector but the government has a tough balancing act to ensure adequate support prices for farmers and simultaneously bring down the high prices of food items.
