As counting is underway for the Lok Sabha elections, leads favoured the BJP-led NDA over the Opposition alliance - INDIA. The BJP's Uttar Pradesh dominance, however, faced a tough challenge from the INDIA bloc. The contest between the BJP and INDIA alliance in the Lok Sabha polls is a reflection of a broader ideological battle. Sachin Pilot said, "There was a sense of arrogance that seeped into the ruling party, there is a way that people have voted clearly shows there is a pushback".
