BJP Trying Operation Lotus After Losing Delhi Civic Poll: AAP MP Sanjay Singh
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won the Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD) election, defeating the BJP and ending its 15-year run in the civic body. However, the big question now is which party would be successful in appointing a mayor. The AAP alleged the BJP has already started work on trying to poach AAP councillors. “BJP is hinting towards Operation Lotus in Delhi's MCD,” AAP MP Sanjay Singh said. “The AAP has breached the BJP's fort of 15 years under Arvind Kejriwal's leadership,” Mr Singh said.
