Poor only if income below Rs 20 per day?
Many would say Rs 20 per day is an unliveable figure, but the reality is that a large number of people live on Rs 20 every day. However, the Planning Commission says that people who make less than this amount should be considered poor. What about the person who makes Rs 21 or 22 per day? Are they not poor anymore?
