The Indian school education system is one of the biggest and, perhaps, the most complex in the world. The need to maintain standards and uniformity, and to incorporate the fine differences in the country's diverse culture further add to its complexity.

Acknowledging these complexities, the Educomp NDTV Education Awards, which aim at recognising the efforts of Indian schools and their faculty by providing them a platform to showcase their excellence as leaders in the education sector. This is being conducted on two distinct yet interdependent levels – 4 Regional Rounds covering the length and the breadth of the country and a Grand Finale or National Round.

After the successful completion of awards for the North Zone which presented the jury with some tough choices, the awards move to Mumbai for the West Zone round. On this episode, meet the winners from this zone.
