1 Dies After Boat Sinks In Assam's Cachar
One person died and four others went missing after a boat capsized in Cachar area of Assam on Monday. According to reports, the incident occured in the Sonai Dakhin Mohanpur locality where an inflatable boat on relief duty carrying seven people, including women and children, capsized in floodwaters. Meanwhile, rescue and search operation were launched with relief trams managing to recover the body of one individual and rescue two others alive. On the other hand, NDRF has launched search and rescue operation to find another four persons. Ratnadip Choudhary gets us the latest.
