24 pilgrims were trapped in cable cars for two hours in Tamil Nadu
24 pilgrims, who were trapped in two cable cars nearly 100 feet above the ground, were rescued in a two-hour-long operation today. The cable cars, meant to transport pilgrims from the hill base to Sri Dhanayuthapaniswamy temple in Palani, developed a technical snag and stopped mid-way, sources said.
