नेशनल ग्रीन ट्रिब्यूनल ने दो सरकारी कंपनियों समेत चार कंपनियों को मुंबई में गैस चैंबर जैसे हालात बनाने के लिए जिम्मेदार ठहराया है. एनजीटी के इन कंपनियों पर पर्यावरण को नुकसान पहुंचाने के लिए 286 करोड़ रुपये का जुर्माना लगाया है. इन पर आरोप है कि इन्होंने अस्थिर ऑर्गेनिट कम्पाउंड पर्यावरण में छोड़े हैं.
