A group of fifty women between the contentious 10-50 age group will attempt to enter Sabarimala on Sunday. The Kerala Police has assured them security, they say. These ladies from five states including Tamil Nadu, Kerala and West Bengal say they are devotees and would follow all rituals. It's close to three months since the Supreme Court gave its verdict paving way for women of all ages to offer prayers at Sabarimala. So far, not a single woman in the menstrual age has managed to enter the shrine. More than a dozen women made unsuccessful attempts as hundreds of protesters stopped them and a few were assaulted too.
