India recorded 1,594 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours and 51 deaths linked to the highly contagious illness, taking the total to 29,974 COVID-19 cases so far, including 937 deaths. Across the country, 7,027 patients have recovered so far; the recovery rate stood at 23.33 per cent on Tuesday morning.
