Ajit Pawar's resignation accepted, says NCP chief Sharad Pawar
The political bang created by Ajit Pawar when he resigned as Deputy Chief Minister ended with a whimper today. His uncle, Sharad Pawar, who heads the Nationalist Congress Party or NCP, said that the resignation had been accepted, and that 19 other NCP ministers who had sent resignation letters in support of Ajit had been told to get back to work.
