Are parties trying to avoid public scrutiny?
They are our public representatives but they are insistent about not coming under public scrutiny. Major political parties on Thursday vehemently opposed any move to bring them under the ambit of the Right to Information Act. The Central Information Commission has reserved its judgment. We ask, why should our public representatives not be open to public scrutiny?
