Assam polls: Water, sanitation, drainage key issues
For the first time in 20 years, elections in Assam are not dominated by the militancy issue, instead, ordinary residents are more concerned with day-to-day issues like drinking water and lack of sanitation. There is another visible difference - people are no longer scared of bandhs.
