Assam Villagers Build Bamboo Bridge Over River Due To 'Government Inaction'
Residents of Bhomrabil village in the Gosaigaon sub-division of Kokrajhar district in Assam have constructed a bamboo bridge over the river that runs through their village. The villagers allege that when repeated pleas to the administration for the construction of a bridge went unheard they decided to build one themselves.
