BCCI split wide open: where will this impasse end?

The BCCI chief is now more isolated than ever before. Former BCCI chief Sharad Pawar has asked for a home ministry probe into all IPL matches as questions are raised about the independence and the impartiality of the BCCI-appointed probe panel. Earlier, in an unprecedented step, the sports minister joined the chorus of voices saying N Srinivasan should resign on moral grounds. But, a defiant BCCI chief held meetings at the cricket board's headquarters even as the storm around him grew, emerging only to reiterate there was no question of him resigning.
