Beagle Undergoes Non-Invasive Heart Surgery, A First For India Say Doctors Who Operated
A seven-year-old beagle with a complex heart condition successfully underwent non-invasive heart surgery at Delhi's Max PetZ Hospital, with veterinarians claiming it to be the first such procedure to be carried out in the Indian subcontinent. The beagle has been suffering from Mitral valve disease, a heart condition in which the valve between the left heart chambers doesn't close fully.
