Bengal deal: Trinamool to contest 229 seats, Congress 65

The Congress has resolved its differences with Mamata Banerjee over its alliance for the West Bengal elections. The Congress will contest 65 seats, while Mamata's Trinamool Congress will contest the other 229 seats for the West Bengal Assembly. Mamata had earlier said she would sanction 64 seats for the Congress.
