Bihar: Clash After Crackdown On Illegal Sand Mining
Illegal sand mining is one of the biggest headache Bihar Police. The raids at sand mining mafia often leads to clashes between cops and labourers employed by sand mafia. In one such incident in Gaya district of Central Bihar there was stone pelting by labourers on cops which resulted in lathicharge and use of tear gas in which several villagers and labourers were injured.
