BJP Welcomes Rahul Gandhi's Conviction, Congress Workers Protest
The BJP today welcomed Rahul Gandhi's conviction in a defamation case over his alleged remarks on the 'Modi' surname, while the Congress workers staged widespread protests. Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge said they had an inkling of it from the way Mr Gandhi was being repeatedly summoned. Meanwhile, Union Minister Rajnath Singh said Rahul Gandhi must accept that words cause more harm that weapons.
