Cabinet to discuss Pension Bill; Govt-Mamata headed for another face-off?
Agreeable allies or not, the government is all set to push the Pension Bill, which has been stalled for years as political parties squabble over its provisions. The Union Cabinet will meet today and is expected to discuss and clear three amendments to the Bill, which it will hope will bring around partner Trinamool Congress, which has been dead opposed to the legislation.
