Union Minister Chirag Paswan criticized the opposition, noting that their claims before the Lok Sabha elections did not match the actual results. He highlighted that his party, LJP (Chirag Paswan), won all five seats it contested. Chirag Paswan also stated that in the upcoming assembly elections, the NDA will be led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
"This time too the opposition made many claims in the Lok Sabha elections that the account will not be opened and many other things. What was the actual result? We won most of the seats in Bihar. My party won all 5 seats... the public has decided that Bihar can develop only with a double engine government... NDA will contest elections in Bihar under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar", said Chirag Paswan.
