Christian Michel's Note: Should Congress Be Worried?
Christian Michel, the alleged middleman in the AugustaWestland VVIP chopper scam has been accused of "stealing" a questionnaire that was given to him to answer and passing it on to his lawyer. The Enforcement Directorate told a Delhi court that during their interrogation, "Mrs Gandhi's name came up" and before a follow-up question, Michel passed a chit to his lawyers seeking directions to "on what to say". These are serious allegations as even before Michel arrived in India after his extradition, his lawyer told NDTV that there was pressure on Michel to name a particular family.
