Coal controversy: Won't resign or get into slanging match, says PM
The Prime Minister, who is on his way to Delhi from Iran, has said there is no question of resigning over the alleged "coal-gate" affair. "I have to maintain the dignity of the office of the Prime Minister," he said, when asked about his response to the BJP's unrelenting demand for him to quit. "If I were resigning, I would not be here," he said on his plane, referring to his trip to Iran for a conference of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).
