He's been in charge of the Indian economy for the last two and a half years, but Pranab Mukherjee will give up his job as Finance Minister in a couple of days to get set for the Race for Rashtrapati Bhavan. Ahead of that, Pranab talked about the many problems facing the Indian economy to reporters in Kolkata just before visiting his village Kinnahar in Bengal. And when asked about concerns like the slowdown, inflation and the depreciating rupee, Pranab Mukherjee acknowledged that there was a crisis but said that he was hopeful that things would get better.
