COVID-19: India Reports Over 50,000 Cases Second Times In A Row
India on Friday reported a new record surge in coronavirus cases with more than 55,000 fresh infections. The Union Health Ministry said that over 6.42 lakh samples were tested on Thursday which is the highest single-day figure so far. This is the second consecutive day that more than 50,000 new cases have been reported in 24 hours.
