Cracks Appear In Ground In Himachal's Lahaul-Spiti, Disrupt Farming
Land subsidence has led to the formation of cracks in the ground in Lindur village, located in Himachal Pradesh's Lahaul and Spiti district. A year ago, a landslide resulted in the blockage of NH-505 in the same district. "Compared to last year, more cracks have been noticed in the lands. In Lindur village, so many cracks have developed. We can't do flood irrigation. It's a request to the administration to provide us with sprinkle pipes. We can only request to Administration to save our corps from getting burnt," a villager said.
