"Leave everything else and vote first," says a woman voter in Delhi's Shaheen Bagh area. Voting began at 8 am today for the assembly election in Delhi as over 1.47 crore voters can exercise their franchise. "People of Delhi will vote on national issues," a voter says. Tight security arrangements are in place across the national capital with extra vigil in south-east Delhi's Shaheen Bagh, where a protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act is going on for nearly two months.
