NDTV's investigative report into the Vyapam scam today asked - why did Special Task Force probing the scam ignore a 2013 Income Tax report that accused mining baron Sudhir Sharma, now in jail for Vyapam, for having funded several key BJP and RSS leaders in Madhya Pradesh? Among the names that are listed in the report are that of BJP leaders Dharmendra Pradhan, Anil Dave, Prabhat Jha and RSS leader Suresh Soni. The Congress has reacted to NDTV's report and demanded union minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation. Mr Pradhan has defended himself saying all allegations against him are false.
