Activist Anna Hazare has announced a new front against corruption. The co-founder of his movement, the former chief of the Indian Army, VK Singh, sat next to Anna at a press conference in Mumbai. Together, they demanded that parliament be dissolved immediately because the government, beset by graft and indebted to big business, has stopped caring about the people.
