Families of the five Coimbatore men arrested by the NIA and the city police have denied allegations that the men had links with the banned terror group ISIS. They call these arrests politically motivated. Investigators say the accused men were in touch with the suspected suicide bomber behind Easter attacks in Sri Lanka in which more than 250 people were killed. Police say these men also had plans for terrorist attacks in Kerala and Tamil Nadu; the group had propagated ISIS ideology and even was into recruiting vulnerable youngsters. NDTV spoke to the Yacoobs whose two sons Sheik Idayatullah and Sheikh Shafiullah have been arrested -- one by the NIA and another by Coimbatore police.
