Garba Row: Segregation In the Name of Festivals?
Two days ago, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar welcomed 52 ambassadors posted in India from across the world to showcase Incredible, festive, syncretic India. Compare this with what happened in Ujjain - three young men were thrashed by Bajrang Dal members for entering a Garba Pandal in Ujjain. Bajrang Dal claimed it had handed over three "non-Hindus" to the police for allegedly entering the garba venue by hiding their identities.
