Gehlot's U-turn on pub culture remarks
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has backtracked on his pub culture comments. He says his comments on pub culture and moral policing were quoted out of context. Chief Minister's office has sent a clarification saying that Ashok Gehlot was quoted out of context. A day after public outrage over the attack on girls in a Mangalore pub forced the government in Karnataka to arrest Sri Rama Sene chief Pramod Muthalik, the Rajasthan Chief Minister kicked up a storm by his controversial remarks.
