Like many other places in the country, banks in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi saw huge lines for cash throughout the day. In a place where the government's bank accounts for all scheme has seen a huge push over the last year, people largely gave a thumbs up to the demonetisation drive to root out black money.
