India Today LS Poll Graphic Predicting BJP Leading In Amritsar Is Fake
A graphic claiming to show an India Today exit poll for the Amritsar Lok Sabha constituency, showing the BJP candidate ahead of the AAP and Congress candidates, is fake. Fact-checking platform BOOM found that India Today has not released any such exit poll for the Amritsar Lok Sabha constituency. All 13 seats of Punjab, including Amritsar, go to the polls on June 1, 2024, during the last phase, with the results to be declared on June 4, 2024. Punjab will witness a four-cornered fight between AAP, Congress, BJP, and Shiromani Akali Dal.
