Indian Fan’s Fears Turn Into Reality As Ind Vs Canada Match Gets Abandoned

Before the India vs Canada match in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup was cancelled because of a wet outfield on June 15, Indian fans turned up in huge numbers in the Florida ground to see the Indian team’s magic on the field. A fan with his beard coloured in the Indian tricolour flag’s colours was hopeful about the commencement of the match and excited to watch the Indian team perform well. Speaking to ANI, he said, “I think luck will be with us today. I want this match to be a scoring match and our top batting line-up comes to their rhythm. I am looking forward to today’s match with a positive mindset. The only thing I am worried about is that the pitch is a bit wet and hopefully our players don’t get injured”. Notably, a day following the cancellation of the game between USA and Ireland in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, the India vs Canada match on June 15 was also called off as the heavy rainfall over the past two days rendered the field unfit for the India vs Canada match.
