Inside A Detention Centre Being Built After Assam Citizens List
After the publication of the Assam's final National Register of Citizens or NRC, which has left out about 19 lakh people, the focus is on tribunals where these people will have to appeal to prove their citizenship. Work has also begun on detention centres where people who are declared foreigners will be kept.
