Karnataka's Silk Farmers' Water Worries
From water power to low prices, the worries of silk farmers of Karnataka know no end. With the rising cost of labour, production costs have gone up. However the prices offered by the government have not, farmers say. They want water from the Cauvery river and are hoping the Mekedatu project will help solve the problem.
