Union Minister Kapil Sibal told Parliament that the people of this country would never forgive them if the Lokpal Bill was not passed. Refuting the objections of BJP leader Sushma Swaraj, Mr Sibal said the BJP only wanted the Lokpal Bill to be passed, as it would cover the UPA government at the Centre, and not the Lokayukta Bill, as it would hold states accountable for corruption.
