Madhya Pradesh polls: 30% candidates facing criminal cases
The Madhya Pradesh Election Watch and Association of Democratic Reforms have done a comparative study of candidates facing criminal charges in the state's 2007 and 2013 elections and alarmingly it has gone up by five per cent. This perhaps indicates how serious political parties are on the issue of reducing criminality in politics.
