Manipur CM N Biren Singh Inspects Flood-Affected Areas In Imphal
Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh inspected flood-affected areas in Imphal on July 05. Lakhs have been displaced as the flood situation has worsened in Manipur following incessant rainfall. The state govt has extended holidays for schools for another two days till Saturday.
"This is a natural disaster. We did not expect such heavy rains... I was discussing with the Water Resources Minister that we have to make a comprehensive plan for the future... so that we can find a permanent solution for the future...," said N Biren Singh.
