MK Stalin Lists Out Action Taken In Hooch Case Amid Opposition Criticism
The Tamil Nadu Hooch tragedy which has claimed over 60 lives took center stage in the state Assembly session. After the opposition AIADMK held a protest demanding a CBI probe into the matter, Chief Minister MK Stalin hit out at the opposition and called their protest a diversion tactic. He listed out the action taken in the case - ordered suspension of officers responsible, CBI-CID probe, arrests made in the case, the announcement of compensation and support for those who lost their parents in the incident. He also added all this action was done within 24 hours.
