On The Buck Stops Here, former Home Minister P Chidamabram, in an exclusive interview, said, "The mass blinding of Kashmiris has weakened the moral authority of the Indian State". Explaining Ghulam Nabi Azad's attack in Parliament on the PDP-BJP coalition, Mr Chidambaram said, "The alliance itself was a grave provocation to the people of Kashmir". "BJP as a party and the people of the Kashmir Valley...are poles apart," he said. The former Home Minister also said that hypernationalists who use Shah Faesal to further their own politics are "demeaning him".
