Mumbai beerman serial killer gets lifer
Ravindra Kantrolu, once called the beerman serial killer, has been sentenced to life in prison. Kantrolu was arrested in February 2007. He was accused of killing seven people between October 2006 and February 2007. He came to be called the beerman killer as beer cans were found next to two of his victims. A Mumbai court on Thursday found him guilty in one of three murders for which chargesheets were filed. This is the first success for the Mumbai police in their case against Kantrolu.
