Narendra Modi in Delhi; BJP to declare him its choice for PM
Narendra Modi has landed at Delhi airport and is headed into town in his SUV. This evening, he is expected to be named the BJP's candidate for prime minister in 2014. A meeting of the BJP's top 12 leaders called to make the Modi announcement, was shifted by half an hour to 5.30 pm as party chief Rajnath Singh visited LK Advani to make a last effort at winning the veteran's support.
