NCP gives seat-sharing jitters to Congress
After weeks of posturing over seat-sharing with the Congress, Maharashtra strongman Sharad Pawar finally spelt out his key demand at his party's conference in Nasik. "If the Congress can give 50 seats to alliance partners on a national level then we can understand. Otherwise, every political party will have to find its own local state partners. Therefore, Congress must take a decision soon," said Sharad Pawar, President, NCP.
