No deal for Nasheed exit from Indian embassy, says Maldives Govt

The Maldives government has denied any deal with New Delhi and ex-President Nasheed that prompted him to leave the Indian mission 11 days after seeking diplomatic shelter. Though the Presidential spokesperson told NDTV that Mr Nasheed didn't face arrest as of now, it added the rider that the courts would decide. Mr Nasheed's stay in the Indian mission had sparked off a diplomatic stand-off. (Video courtesy: Rajje TV)
